Zuzana Kakalíková

Born in Slovakia, and studied acting at the Academy of Arts in Banska Bystrica 2000-2003, and later at the Academy of Musical and Dramatic Arts in Bratislava, where she completed her MA in Dramatic Arts in 2005. Her interest in movement led her to Scuola Teatro Dimitri in Switzerland, where she practiced pantomime, tai-chi, dance and acrobatics from 2005-2006.

She is co-founder of the multicultural Company T-d’U, with which she has created Silence... and ÔKÔ , two performances which toured in Switzerland, Poland, Slovakia and Czech republic. 

Zuzana participated on many different workshops with companies like: Farm in the cave, Les Slovaks, Dominique Duszinski and Ana Stegnar.
She is part of Studio Matejka's team of artists which pasts 2 years of research on physical expression, in residency in Institute Grotowski, in Wroclaw, Poland. 

Studio Matejka presented in February 2013 its creation Awkward happiness, or everything I don’t remember about meeting you. Music plays a big part in her creative process. She is singing and composing texts and loops.

In august 2013 Zuzana participated on workshop led by Romeo Castellucci, finished by presentation of the work "Natura e origine della mente" in Biennale Venezia 2013. Zuzana is continuing to work with her company in Switzerland as well as in Studio Matejka.

Guillaumarc Froidevaux


graduated from movement theatre school Dimitri in Switzerland in 2005. 

After his studies, he worked for various independent companies such as, Twof2, Teatro Palino, Teatro Paravento, as well as for his own projects (L'usine à rêve, Le Petit Prince) in Switzerland, France and Austria.

From 2007 to 2011, Guillaumarc worked mainly in tandem with Zuzana Kakalikova as artistic director and performer in Compagnie T-d'U for the performances Silence… and ÔkÔ, which toured in Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. During this period he also taught acrobatics and physical expression at Lezarti'cirque school.

In 2011, Guillaumarc joined the research program Studio Matejka at the Grotowski Institute in Wroclaw. During his work with Studio Matejka, he created "Awkward Happiness or everything I don't remember about meeting you", a co-production with company T-d'U which is now touring in Poland and abroad.

Guillaumarc teaches body awareness, body rhythm and partner work within the Studio Matejka's workshops in Europe and USA.


ANTHONY NIKOLCHEV (PERFORMER AND WRITER) 

IS A NATIVE CALIFORNIAN, AN ACTOR, WRITER AND HOLDS A BA IN THEATRE AND BIOETHICS FROM WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY IN CONNECTICUT WHERE HE STUDIED UNDER YURIY KORDONSKIY, A STUDENT OF LEV DODIN. 

HIS ACTING AND WRITING HAS BEEN SEEN IN NEW YORK CITY, CHICAGO, LOS ANGELES AS WELL AS GERMANY, RUSSIA, ARMENIA AND POLAND. 

SINCE 2009, HE HAS BEEN ​WORKING BOTH IN THE USA AND IN WROCLAW - FIRST TOURING WITH HIS OWN SOLO PERFORMANCE, THEN AT THE WROCLAWSKI TEATR LALEK AND NOW WITH THE STUDIO MATEJKA. 

AWARDS INCLUDE: 2011 / 2012 BEST ACTOR UNITED SOLO THEATRE FESTIVAL (NYC), 2012 BEST ACTOR LOS ANGELES INTL. UNDERGROUND FILM FESTIVAL (USA), 2009 WROSTJA FESTIVAL DIRECTORS AWARD (POLAND), A TCG/ITI TRAVEL GRANT AND MID-ATLANTIC USARTIST INTERNATIONAL GRANT.  

IN JUNE 2013 HE COLLABORATED AS A WRITER AND PERFORMER WITH VIVIEN WOOD IN EXILE, A DANCE THEATRE PERFORMANCE TOURING IN ENGLAND. 


GEMA GALIANA

Licenciada en Arte Dramático (ESAD-Murcia), Experta en Fotografía Aplicada (Universidad Miguel Hernández, Elche).

Continúa ampliando su formación en Artes Escénicas realizando numerosos cursos de entrenamiento y desarrollo artístico, nacional e internacionalmente, entre los que destaca: La Palabra Hecha Acción con Will Keen, The Radical Actor Training con Gabriel Gawing (Song of The Goat Theatre), Training con Iben Nagel Rasmussen (Odin Theatre), Acciones Físicas con Isabel Ubeda (Odin Theatre), Intensive Training Program con Oliviero Pavi y Kate Hannah Perry (OBRA Theatre Co). 


En 2010 entra a formar parte de Internacional Laboratorio de Investigación STUDIO MATEJKA, en el Instituto Grotowski, Wroclaw, Polonia, donde es uno de los ocho miembros que durante tres años llevan a cabo un profundo estudio de investigación cruzando bordes entre técnicas performativas, técnicas de entrenamiento y entre una expresión individual y una resonancia colectiva.

En Studio Matejka realiza su solo performance LA MUJER DESCOMPUESTA

En 2013 comienza su colaboración con Vivien Wood, en Inglaterra, realizando EXILE, pieza comisariada por Dance City, Newcastle Upon-Tyne, y elegida como uno de los tres mejores espectáculos del año por The Journal News Culture Awards,2013 y es parte de All THE THINGS YOU SAID YOU NEVER SAID BEFORE YOU THOUGHT YOU COULD EVER SAY
, pieza teatral dirigida por Vivien Wood en 2014 y en gira por el Reino Unido, Suiza, Eslovaquia. 

Actualmente combina su actividad performativa con la pedagógica realizando cursos de entrenamiento sobre teatro físico, en España, Polonia, Reino Unido,etc.
